For which riding situations the 530x92 is designed

This chain length is designed for use on sporty 600 cc supersport motorcycles. During acceleration from low engine speeds, on quick country-road runs or when riding with a passenger, high tensile forces act on the individual chain plates and pins. The reinforced construction of this chain – high-alloy steels, defined heat treatment and precise fits – is tuned exactly to these changing load conditions.

Tensile strength of around 33,000 N for high drive torque

The specified tensile strength of around 33,000 N (≈ 3,300 kg) describes the maximum tensile force the chain can absorb before permanent deformation occurs. In normal riding, the forces are significantly lower, so the chain retains reserves for load peaks – for example when accelerating out of corners or during short full-throttle sections.

X-Ring seal with four contact surfaces

Classic O-Rings sit with two contact surfaces between the inner and outer plate. An X-Ring has four defined contact surfaces, which reduces friction in the joint and keeps the enclosed lubricant longer between the pin and bushing.
