60L Tow-Behind Spreader for ATV and UTV with 12-Inch Pneumatic Tyres
This tow-behind spreader for ATV and UTV is designed for wide-area distribution of suitable spreading material on paths, driveways, yard areas, properties and other outdoor surfaces. The spreader is towed behind a compatible vehicle and combines a large 60-litre poly hopper with a wide spreading range, two robust pneumatic tyres and a heavy-duty aluminium gear system.
With a capacity of approximately 60 litres, the ATV spreader is especially suitable for larger areas where a walk-behind spreader would require frequent refilling. Depending on the spreading material, application rate, driving speed and working conditions, one hopper load can cover an estimated area of up to approximately 2,300 m². This value is only a guideline and can vary significantly in actual use.
60-Litre Hopper for Larger Working Areas
The large poly hopper with approximately 60 litres of capacity allows longer working periods between refills. This is particularly useful on long driveways, large yards, commercial premises and extensive property areas.
Because the spreader is towed behind an ATV or UTV, the weight of the loaded material does not have to be pushed manually. This makes the design particularly suitable for recurring spreading work over longer distances.
-
Approx. 60-litre capacity: large poly hopper for extended spreading applications.
-
Up to approx. 2,300 m² coverage: estimated guideline depending on spreading material, application rate and working conditions.
-
Approx. 3.05 to 3.66 m spreading width: wide material distribution with each pass.
-
2 x 12-inch pneumatic tyres: robust wheels for different outdoor surfaces.
-
Heavy-duty aluminium gear: mechanical drive system for the spreading mechanism.
-
Screen and rain cover: support material flow and help protect the hopper contents from direct moisture from above.
Wide Spreading Range up to Approximately 3.66 Metres
The specified spreading width is approximately 3.05 to 3.66 metres. This allows the tow-behind spreader to treat a comparatively wide section with each pass.
On larger yards, long access roads or extensive properties, the wide spreading range can reduce the number of passes required. The actual spreading width depends on factors such as the spreading material, vehicle speed and selected application rate.
Estimated Coverage for Large Properties
Depending on the setting and material used, one full hopper can cover an estimated area of up to approximately 2,300 m².
This figure should be understood strictly as an estimate and guideline. If more spreading material is applied per square metre, the achievable area will be smaller. Grain size, material condition, driving speed and spreader adjustment also influence the actual coverage.
Designed for ATV and UTV Towing
The ATV tow-behind spreader is intended for use behind suitable ATVs and UTVs. It is particularly useful on properties and work areas where a quad or side-by-side is already used as a utility vehicle.
Typical applications include larger property tracks, yard areas, commercial premises, driveways and other outdoor surfaces. Before use, the towing vehicle should be checked for a suitable hitch and sufficient capacity for operating the loaded spreader.
Two Robust 12-Inch Pneumatic Tyres
The spreader is equipped with two 12-inch pneumatic tyres. The pneumatic wheel design supports smooth rolling over paved and moderately uneven surfaces.
Larger air-filled tyres are particularly useful on long tracks, paved areas and properties with small surface irregularities. The two wheels support the hopper and allow the spreader to follow the towing vehicle during operation.
Heavy-Duty Aluminium Gear for the Spreading Mechanism
The spreading unit features a heavy-duty aluminium gear. The mechanical system transfers movement during towing to the spreading mechanism, allowing the material in the hopper to be distributed across the working area.
The gear system is a central part of the mechanical spreader drive and is designed for the loads associated with regular tow-behind operation.
Screen for Controlled Material Flow
A screen is included for use inside the hopper. It supports a more consistent material supply and can help keep larger clumps or unsuitable coarse pieces away from the spreading mechanism below.
A consistent material structure helps the spreading material move reliably towards the outlet and supports a more even spread pattern.
Rain Cover Helps Protect the Spreading Material
A rain cover is also included. It covers the hopper from above and helps reduce direct contact between the material and rain or snow.
This is particularly useful with moisture-sensitive spreading materials, as damp material can form clumps and affect material flow or spreading performance.
Versatile Applications with ATV and UTV
The large tow-behind spreader can be used wherever suitable spreading material needs to be distributed over larger outdoor areas. Its towed design makes it especially practical for jobs where an ATV or UTV is already being used.
-
Winter service: for distributing suitable spreading material on paths, driveways and yard areas.
-
Commercial premises: for treating larger outdoor and traffic areas.
-
Long property tracks: for consistent spreading work over greater distances.
-
Yard and parking areas: for broad material distribution.
-
Agricultural and forestry areas: for suitable spreading work on tracks and areas accessible by ATV or UTV.
-
Large private properties: for regular maintenance work across extensive outdoor areas.

Universal Use with ATV and UTV
The 60-litre tow-behind spreader is not vehicle-specific. It can be used with different ATVs and UTVs as long as the vehicle has a suitable towing point and is designed for operation with the loaded spreader.

Adjust the Material and Setting to the Application
The actual spread pattern and achievable coverage depend on several factors. These include the grain size and condition of the material, vehicle speed and the required application rate.
The stated coverage of up to approximately 2,300 m² should therefore only be regarded as an estimate and not as a fixed performance figure.
