Question sur l'article

TRW steel handlebar, black flat bar with ABE for Yamaha XJR 1300 (1300 XJR) – triple coated

What separates this TRW bar from a plain steel tube is the surface: three coating layers lie above the steel tube, the last of them giving the deep black tone that stays even after seasons of spray water and road salt. The tube itself measures 22 mm across with a 2 mm wall and an 18 mm inner diameter, the 7/8 inch standard that series clamps, grips and switch housings are built for. Bent and checked in Germany, the bar reaches the workbench ready to fit.

Material and dimensions of the steel tube

Tube outer diameter: 22 mm (7/8 inch)
Tube inner diameter: 18 mm
Wall thickness: 2 mm
Width across the ends: 765 mm
Height of the bend: 44 mm
Bar-end mirror fitting: 15 mm expansion bolts

Measured points on the bar

Dimension	Value
a (length)	765 mm
b (height)	44 mm
c (inner width)	205 mm
d (outer height)	44 mm
e (depth)	170 mm

Where the coating pays off

Corrosion protection – triple special coating against salt, moisture and spray water
Colour stability – the black finish keeps its depth instead of greying out
Type approval included – no additional entry in the vehicle documents
Made in Germany – bent and inspected in German manufacturing

What the steel tube brings to the cockpit

The bar follows the 7/8 inch standard: 22 mm across the outside, 18 mm across the inside, which leaves a 2 mm wall over the full 765 mm width. Between the bends, 205 mm of straight tube take the clamp blocks and instrument mounts, while the bend rises 44 mm and pulls the grips back by 170 mm. On the Yamaha XJR 1300 that geometry puts the hands low and close, with the instruments in clear view.

Which models does the enclosed ABE cover?

The ABE list supplied with the bar names all released vehicle types, this model included. If a machine is missing from that list, an additional TÜV report is enclosed so that registration remains possible.

Included in the package

1x TRW flat handlebar in black, 22 mm diameter
1x type approval document (ABE)
1x TÜV report for unlisted models, in paper form
