TRW handlebar for Honda CB 1000 Big (Big 1000 CB) – black flat steel bar with ABE and 22 mm clamp

Sunday morning at the meeting point, a run through the hills afterwards and a quiet ride home in the evening: the Honda CB 1000 Big is a classic big naked machine, and the cockpit shapes the character of every one of those trips. This black TRW flat handlebar in steel replaces the standard bar, fits the usual series clamps and comes with ABE, so the new look is road legal from the start.

What changes in the cockpit, in numbers

Clamping diameter: 22 mm (7/8 inch)
Internal diameter: 18 mm
Thickness of the tube wall: 2 mm
Handlebar width: 765 mm
Height of the rise: 44 mm
Prepared for mirrors with 15 mm expansion bolts

Bar measurements in detail

Dimension	Value
a (length)	765 mm
b (height)	44 mm
c (inner width)	205 mm
d (outer height)	44 mm
e (depth)	170 mm

Benefits for weekend riders

ABE in the box – ready for the road without an additional entry
Triple special coating – a lasting black surface with corrosion protection
Numerous types covered – suits a wide selection of standard clamps
Made in Germany – consistent bending and finishing quality

Why choose a flat bar instead of the standard handlebar?

Because it changes posture and appearance in a single step: the flat bend lowers the hands, stretches the upper body slightly forward and gives the front end a leaner, more purposeful line. Steering inputs reach the front wheel more directly, which suits fast country roads, while a width of 765 mm keeps low-speed control easy in car parks and town traffic. The black finish matches dark fork tubes and engine covers, so the cockpit looks as if it left the factory that way.

Approval and enclosed documents

With ABE the handlebar is approved for road use on this model, which makes a separate entry in the vehicle papers unnecessary. The ABE list supplied with the bar names all covered types; for models outside the list, the enclosed TÜV report serves as the basis for registration.
