Question sur l'article

TRW flat handlebar for Honda NTV 650 (650 NTV) – black 22 mm steel bar with ABE for all-weather riding

Commuting through autumn rain, luggage strapped behind the seat and the occasional long weekend on tour: the Honda NTV 650 was built for that kind of service, and a bent or corroded handlebar spoils it faster than anything else. This black TRW steel bar in flat shape is a direct replacement for the standard handlebar and comes with ABE, so the machine goes back on the road without a visit to an inspection body.

Figures that matter when the miles add up

Outer diameter at the clamp: 22 mm (7/8 inch)
Inside diameter of the tube: 18 mm
Steel wall thickness: 2 mm
Width across the ends: 765 mm
Height of the bend: 44 mm
Mirror mounting via 15 mm expansion bolts

Dimensions for planning the cockpit

Dimension	Value
a (length)	765 mm
b (height)	44 mm
c (inner width)	205 mm
d (outer height)	44 mm
e (depth)	170 mm

Advantages for riders who ride all year

ABE in the delivery – no additional entry in the vehicle documents
Triple special coating – a closed surface against spray, grit and winter salt
Broad type coverage – a proven replacement bar for many standard clamps
Made in Germany – consistent quality from German series production

How well does the coating survive winter roads?

Very well: a triple special coating seals the steel tube against moisture, grit and road salt, so the black finish keeps its depth instead of blooming into rust around the clamp area. That matters most on a machine that stays in service through autumn and winter, where spray from the road reaches the bar on every single ride. The closed surface also makes cleaning simple, since a wet sponge is usually enough and no aggressive polish is needed to keep the cockpit looking fresh.

Fitment and approval documents

The handlebar is approved for this model with ABE and is therefore permitted on public roads. The enclosed ABE list shows which types are covered; for a model that is not listed, an additional TÜV report is included as the basis for registration. A short check of throttle cable, clutch cable and brake line at full lock completes the conversion.

Included in the delivery

1x TRW flat handlebar, black, steel tube of 22 mm diameter
1x ABE type approval document in paper form
1x TÜV report for models that are not listed (paper form)
