Anodized Aluminium Front Rim 1.85 x 21 with 36 Spoke Holes in Racing Gold
This anodized aluminium rim in size 1.85 x 21 inch is designed for building, repairing or restoring motorcycle front wheels with a spoke system. The rim features 36 spoke holes and an externally measured overall width of approx. 6 cm. The surface is anodized in Racing Gold, giving the rim a distinctive and sporty gold appearance.
1.85 x 21 Inch Rim for Motorcycle Spoke Wheels
With its 1.85 x 21 inch size, this rim is intended for corresponding motorcycle front wheels with a spoke construction. The 21-inch format is commonly used on enduro, cross, off-road and classic motorcycle wheel setups. Actual compatibility always depends on the combination of rim, hub and spokes.
The externally measured width of the rim is approx. 6 cm. This measurement is particularly useful when replacing an existing rim. A direct comparison with the previous rim can help identify differences before installation.
-
1.85 x 21 inch rim size: for corresponding motorcycle front wheels with a spoke system.
-
36 spoke holes: for wheel builds with a matching 36-spoke configuration.
-
Approx. 6 cm external width: overall width measured across the outside of the rim.
-
Racing Gold finish: strong gold tone for a sporty wheel appearance.
-
Anodized surface: refined aluminium surface in Racing Gold.
-
Aluminium construction: robust and comparatively lightweight design for motorcycle spoke wheels.
-
Front wheel version: intended for corresponding 21-inch wheel builds.
36 Spoke Holes for a Matching Wheel Build
The rim features a total of 36 spoke holes. It is therefore intended for wheel assemblies using a corresponding 36-spoke hub and suitable spokes.
However, the number of holes alone is not sufficient when selecting a spoke rim. The position and angle of the individual spoke holes must also match the hub and spoke set being used. Two rims can have the same size and spoke count while still using a different spoke pattern.
If you are replacing an existing rim, a direct comparison with the previous component is recommended. In addition to the 1.85 x 21 inch size and 36 spoke holes, check the position and alignment of the spoke holes carefully.
Anodized Aluminium Rim for Repair and Wheel Rebuilds
A damaged, distorted or heavily stressed rim may require replacement of the rim itself or a complete rebuild of the spoke wheel. This 1.85 x 21 inch aluminium rim can be used as a basis for such a project, provided that the remaining wheel components are technically compatible.
The anodized surface refines the aluminium and provides the characteristic Racing Gold appearance. Aluminium is widely used for motorcycle rims because it combines structural strength with comparatively low weight. The rim is therefore suitable for repairs, restoration projects and custom motorcycle builds.

For Repair, Restoration and Custom Wheel Builds
The rim can be used for different projects as long as the technical specifications match the intended wheel setup. Especially on older motorcycles, restoration projects or individual conversions, selecting a rim by dimensions and spoke arrangement can be more useful than relying on a fixed vehicle application.
-
Repair: as a replacement for a damaged or distorted rim with matching technical specifications.
-
Restoration: for existing motorcycle spoke wheels with corresponding dimensions.
-
Wheel rebuild: for use with a compatible hub and suitable spoke set.
-
Enduro and off-road: for corresponding 21-inch front wheel constructions.
-
Custom builds: for technically compatible motorcycle spoke-wheel projects.
Compare Dimensions and Spoke Arrangement Before Ordering
As this is not a vehicle-specific rim, selection should be based exclusively on the technical specifications and the existing wheel construction. An identical rim diameter does not automatically mean that every hub or spoke set can be used.
Before ordering, compare the 1.85 x 21 inch rim size, the externally measured width of approx. 6 cm, the 36 spoke holes as well as their position and alignment with the existing wheel.
Rim as an Individual Wheel Component
This product consists of the anodized aluminium rim. A complete spoke wheel additionally requires a compatible wheel hub, suitable spokes and the other components required for the specific wheel assembly.
