Anodized Aluminium Rear Rim 1.85 x 18 with 36 Spoke Holes in Racing Gold
This anodized aluminium rim in size 1.85 x 18 inch is intended for building, repairing or restoring motorcycle rear wheels with a spoke system. The rim features 36 spoke holes and an externally measured overall width of approx. 6 cm. The surface is anodized in Racing Gold, providing a stronger and darker gold appearance for corresponding motorcycle wheel builds.
1.85 x 18 Inch Rim for Motorcycle Spoke Wheels
With its 1.85 x 18 inch size, this rim is designed for corresponding motorcycle rear wheels with a spoke construction. Actual compatibility depends on the complete wheel setup. In addition to the rim size, the hub, spoke count and the position and alignment of the spoke holes must also be taken into account.
The externally measured overall width of the rim is approx. 6 cm. This measurement is especially useful when replacing an existing rim. A direct comparison with the previous rim can help identify differences in width, size and spoke arrangement before rebuilding the wheel.
-
1.85 x 18 inch rim size: for corresponding motorcycle rear wheels with a spoke system.
-
36 spoke holes: for wheel builds with a compatible 36-spoke hub and suitable spoke set.
-
Approx. 6 cm external width: overall width measured across the outside of the rim.
-
Racing Gold colour: strong and darker gold tone for a distinctive rim appearance.
-
Anodized surface: refined aluminium surface in Racing Gold.
-
Aluminium construction: robust and comparatively lightweight design for motorcycle spoke wheels.
-
Rear wheel version: intended for corresponding 18-inch wheel builds.
36 Spoke Holes for the Correct Rear Wheel Build
The rim features a total of 36 spoke holes. It is therefore intended for wheel assemblies using a corresponding 36-spoke hub and a suitable spoke set.
However, the number of spoke holes alone is not sufficient to determine compatibility. The position, angle and alignment of the individual holes must also match the existing rear wheel hub and the spokes being used. Two rims can have the same size and the same number of holes while still using a different spoke pattern.
If you are replacing an existing rim, compare the 1.85 x 18 inch size, the 36 spoke holes, the externally measured width of approx. 6 cm and the spoke-hole arrangement directly with the previous component.
Anodized Aluminium Rim for Repair and Wheel Rebuilds
A damaged, distorted or heavily stressed rim may require replacement of the rim itself or a complete rebuild of the spoke wheel. This 1.85 x 18 inch aluminium rim can be used as the basis for such work, provided that the hub, spokes and other wheel components are technically compatible.
The anodized surface refines the aluminium and provides the characteristic Racing Gold appearance. Aluminium is widely used for motorcycle rims because it combines structural stability with comparatively low weight. The rim is therefore suitable for repairs, restorations and individual motorcycle wheel builds.

For Repair, Restoration and Custom Wheel Builds
The rim can be used for different motorcycle spoke-wheel projects as long as the technical specifications match the existing or planned wheel construction. Especially on older motorcycles, restoration projects or individual conversions, directly comparing the relevant dimensions and spoke arrangement is important.
-
Repair: as a replacement for a damaged or distorted rim with matching technical specifications.
-
Restoration: for existing motorcycle spoke wheels with corresponding dimensions.
-
Wheel rebuild: for use with a compatible 36-spoke hub and suitable spoke set.
-
18-inch rear wheels: for technically compatible motorcycle wheel builds.
-
Custom projects: for suitable custom, enduro and restoration applications.
Compare Dimensions and Spoke Arrangement Before Ordering
As this is a non-vehicle-specific rim, selection should be based on the technical specifications. An identical rim size does not automatically mean that every rear wheel hub or spoke set can be used.
Before ordering, compare the 1.85 x 18 inch rim size, the externally measured overall width of approx. 6 cm, the 36 spoke holes as well as their position and alignment with your existing rim.
Rim as an Individual Wheel Component
This product consists of the anodized aluminium rim. A complete spoke wheel additionally requires a technically compatible rear wheel hub, suitable spokes and the other components required for the respective wheel assembly.
