Flyweights or variomatic weights.

Lighter weights produce less centrifugal force, therefore turn up later. The engine turns longer in the upper area, gives more power. And accelerates the scooter stronger, the price of higher noise.
Heavier roles do the opposite. This is more of a disadvantage in practice, but keeps the noise level low, which is required by law, unfortunately.
In order to set a regulated limit to the acceleration, there is the stop sleeve, which sits in the front disc. Depending on the thickness of the stop sleeve, the front pulley can only move within a limited range and the speed is only in a limited range
Removal of this stop sleeve gives the full ratio i. the full final speed free.
