Eye Model Top Case with 35-Litre Capacity and Universal Mounting Plate

The Eye model top case provides approximately 35 litres of additional storage space for motorcycles, scooters, mopeds and other suitable two-wheelers. It is suitable for daily commuting, shopping, touring and carrying typical personal items. Depending on the shape and size of the contents, the interior can accommodate a suitable motorcycle helmet together with smaller accessories.

The black top case is made from polypropylene and features a stable, shape-retaining construction. The material is suitable for use on two-wheelers and helps protect the contents from impacts, road dirt, splash water and the usual stresses encountered while riding. The actual usable storage space depends on the dimensions of the items and the internal shape of the case.

A universal mounting plate is included in the scope of delivery. It is designed for installation on a suitable luggage rack or top-case carrier already fitted to the vehicle. Before ordering and installation, the dimensions, mounting points, load capacity and design of the existing carrier must be checked.

Additional storage space for motorcycles and scooters

Limited storage capacity is a common issue on motorcycles and scooters. Backpacks, rainwear, gloves, shopping or smaller travel items cannot always be stored securely and neatly on the vehicle. The Eye model top case increases the available storage space by approximately 35 litres and provides an enclosed storage compartment at the rear of the vehicle.

The lid can be locked using the integrated lock. Two matching keys are included, allowing one key to be used daily while the second can be kept as a spare. The top case must always be fully closed and correctly connected to the mounting plate before riding.

The removable system allows the top case to be detached from the mounting plate, which remains installed on the vehicle. This is useful when the case needs to be filled, emptied or stored away from the motorcycle or scooter.

Black design with integrated reflectors

The black finish can be combined with a wide range of motorcycle and scooter colours. The housing has a clean, functional design and is suitable for different vehicle types, provided that a compatible luggage rack or top-case carrier is installed.

Reflective elements are integrated into the design. These reflect incoming light and improve the visual recognition of the top case in darkness or poor lighting conditions. The reflectors do not replace the required vehicle lighting and must not be considered a rear light, brake light or indicator.

Universal mounting plate for existing luggage racks

The supplied universal mounting plate is designed for attachment to suitable luggage racks and top-case carriers. The term “universal” means that the plate is not limited to one specific motorcycle model. It does not, however, mean that it is automatically compatible with every vehicle or every carrier system.

Before installation, the existing carrier, usable mounting surface and attachment options must be inspected. The luggage rack must be sufficiently stable and designed to support a top case. The vehicle manufacturer’s specifications regarding the maximum permitted load on the rear carrier must be observed.

The mounting plate should be positioned so that the top case sits centrally and securely on the rear of the vehicle. The case must not obstruct the seat lock, lighting, indicators, grab handles or any moving vehicle components.

Important checks before use

Check the load capacity of the existing luggage rack or top-case carrier.
Compare the dimensions of the mounting plate with the available mounting surface.
Inspect all attachment points for a secure and tension-free fit.
Insert the top case fully into the designated mounting plate connection.
Check before every ride that the case is securely locked and closed.
Distribute the luggage evenly and avoid placing heavy items in the upper section.
Observe the permitted load limits of the vehicle and the existing luggage rack.

Protection for luggage during everyday use

The enclosed housing helps protect the contents from dust, road dirt and splash water. During heavy or prolonged rain, sensitive items should additionally be stored in waterproof bags or protective covers. Electronic devices, documents and other moisture-sensitive items should always receive additional protection.

To reduce rattling and movement while riding, smaller items should not be stored loosely inside the case. Even weight distribution also helps prevent unnecessary stress on the lock, housing and mounting plate.

Clean the top case with water and a suitable mild cleaning agent. Aggressive solvents, abrasive tools and strongly alkaline cleaners may damage the surface, reflectors or plastic components.
