Aluminium Rear Rim 1.85 x 18 Inch in Racing Gold with 36 Spoke Holes
This anodized aluminium rear rim in Racing Gold has a size of 1.85 x 18 inch and is intended for compatible motorcycle spoke wheels. The rim features 36 spoke holes and is suitable for repairs, restorations and individual wheel builds, provided that the rim size, hub, spoke count and spoke-hole arrangement are technically compatible.
The Racing Gold version features a darker and stronger gold tone and therefore differs clearly from lighter variants such as Light Gold. Especially with existing spoke wheels or custom motorcycle projects, the exact colour selection is important when several rims or wheel components are intended to match visually.
Universal Rear Rim for Motorcycle Spoke Wheels
This rim is not vehicle-specific. It can therefore be used for various motorcycles and individual spoke-wheel builds when the technical requirements match. The 1.85 x 18 inch rim size alone is not sufficient to determine compatibility. The construction of the existing hub and the spoke set must also correspond to the rim.
-
1.85 x 18 inch rim size: intended for corresponding 18-inch rear wheel builds.
-
36 spoke holes: for spoke wheels with a compatible 36-hole hub and suitable spoke set.
-
Racing Gold colour: darker and stronger gold tone within the available gold variants.
-
Anodized surface: refined aluminium surface in Racing Gold.
-
Aluminium construction: stable and comparatively lightweight design for motorcycle spoke wheels.
-
Rear wheel version: intended for corresponding 18-inch wheel builds.
36 Spoke Holes for Compatible Wheel Builds
The aluminium rim features 36 spoke holes. It is therefore intended for wheel builds using a compatible hub with 36 spokes. However, the number of spoke holes alone is not sufficient to determine technical compatibility.
Before ordering, compare the position, spacing and angle of the spoke holes with the existing hub and the intended spoke set. Different motorcycle models can use different spoke arrangements even when the total number of spoke holes is identical.
If an existing rim is being replaced, a direct comparison with the removed rim is recommended. This makes it easier to compare the rim size, hole count and spoke alignment before rebuilding the wheel.
Racing Gold as the Darker Gold Variant
This rim is supplied in the Racing Gold colour variant. Racing Gold is a comparatively dark and strong gold tone. The exact colour designation is particularly important because several different gold shades are available in our range.
If another rim or additional gold-coloured wheel components are already installed, please compare the colour designation before ordering. Racing Gold is not the same colour as Light Gold.
Anodized Aluminium Rim for Repair and Wheel Rebuilds
Damaged, distorted or heavily worn rims may need to be replaced. This 1.85 x 18 inch aluminium rim can be used as a replacement component for corresponding rear spoke wheels and is suitable for both repair work and complete wheel rebuilds.
Aluminium combines a stable construction with comparatively low weight. The anodized surface also provides the characteristic Racing Gold appearance, making this rim suitable for restorations as well as individual motorcycle and custom wheel projects.

For Repair, Restoration and Custom Wheel Builds
The rear rim can be used for various applications as long as the technical dimensions and spoke arrangement match the planned wheel build.
-
Repair: for replacing a damaged or distorted rim.
-
Restoration: for rebuilding older motorcycle spoke wheels.
-
Complete wheel rebuild: for projects with a compatible 18-inch hub and 36 spokes.
-
Custom projects: for individual motorcycle builds with compatible wheel components.
-
Colour coordination: Racing Gold for a darker gold wheel appearance.
Compare Dimensions and Spoke Arrangement Before Ordering
As this is a universal motorcycle rim, selection is based on the technical specifications rather than a fixed vehicle list. Before ordering, compare the 1.85 x 18 inch rim size, the 36 spoke holes and the position and alignment of the holes with your existing rim.
The hub and spoke set must also be suitable for the respective wheel construction. An identical 18-inch rim size does not automatically mean that every 18-inch hub can be combined with this rim.
Rim as an Individual Spoke-Wheel Component
This item is a single aluminium rear wheel rim. A compatible hub, spokes and other wheel components are required to build a complete wheel.
