Lockable 5-Litre Fuel Tank / Petrol Can in Black with Mounting Bracket

This lockable 5-litre fuel tank / petrol can is designed for universal use on motorcycles, ATVs and quads. The compact auxiliary fuel can is suitable for touring, travelling and off-road applications where an additional fuel reserve needs to be carried outside the main luggage compartment. Thanks to its flat design, the can can be mounted, depending on the available space, on a side case, top case or another suitable vehicle or luggage surface.

The black 5-litre can is supplied as a complete set with mounting bracket, lock and keys. This allows the container to be secured to the vehicle and helps prevent it from being removed from the holder without opening the locking mechanism. Search terms such as fuel tank, petrol can, fuel can, reserve can and oil can are often used for compact auxiliary containers of this type. This product has a capacity of approximately 5 litres and is designed for external mounting on a suitable vehicle or luggage system.

5-Litre Petrol Can for Motorcycle, ATV and Quad

On longer tours, off-road rides or working trips with an ATV or quad, carrying an additional fuel reserve can be useful. At the same time, luggage space is often limited. A conventional fuel can placed inside a pannier or top case takes up valuable space that could otherwise be used for tools, clothing or other equipment.

This flat 5-litre fuel can is therefore designed for external mounting. With dimensions of approximately 290 mm long, 250 mm wide and 120 mm thick, it has a compact rectangular form that can be positioned on a suitable mounting surface.

5-litre capacity: compact reserve can for carrying additional fuel.
Approx. 290 x 250 x 120 mm dimensions: flat construction for space-saving external mounting.
Lockable mounting bracket: allows the can to be secured in its holder.
Lock and keys included: for securing the can to the mounting system.
Black finish: suitable for motorcycles, ATVs and quads.
Universal application: not restricted to one specific vehicle model.
External mounting: suitable for installation on a side case, top case or other appropriate luggage surface.

Additional Fuel Reserve Without Using Luggage Space

A common problem on touring and off-road vehicles is limited storage capacity. If a petrol can is carried inside a pannier, less space remains for tools, clothing and travel equipment. By mounting this 5-litre auxiliary fuel tank externally, the interior storage space of the side case or top case remains available for other items.

The flat shape is particularly useful where a conventional upright can would take up too much room. The exact mounting position depends on the design of the motorcycle, ATV, quad, pannier system and available mounting surface.

Lockable Petrol Can with Mounting Bracket

The set includes a dedicated can mounting bracket with lock. The 5-litre can is positioned in the holder and can then be secured using the locking mechanism. This helps prevent the container from simply being removed from the bracket without first unlocking it.

This feature is particularly useful on touring motorcycles, adventure bikes and ATVs that may be left unattended during stops. The required lock and matching keys are already included in the set.

Universal Mounting on Side Cases and Top Cases

The petrol can for motorcycle, ATV and quad has a universal design and is not intended for one particular vehicle model. Depending on the available structure, the bracket can be installed in different suitable positions.

Possible mounting areas include a robust side case, top case or another sufficiently stable luggage or vehicle surface. Before installation, the selected area should be checked to make sure it can support the additional load of the filled 5-litre container.

Flat Design for Flexible Mounting Positions

The dimensions of approximately 290 x 250 x 120 mm allow the can to be positioned in different locations. On aluminium panniers or larger top cases, the compact design can provide a space-saving way of carrying additional fuel externally.

The can should be positioned so that it does not come into contact with the exhaust system, engine, tyres, suspension or other moving or strongly heated components.

Also Searched as Fuel Can, Reserve Can and Oil Can

Compact vehicle-mounted containers of this type may also be searched for as an oil can, reserve fuel can, petrol can, fuel container or auxiliary fuel tank. The important characteristics of this product are its 5-litre capacity, flat construction and included lockable mounting bracket.

This makes the can particularly suitable for users who want to carry an additional reserve outside the normal luggage compartment without occupying valuable storage space inside a pannier or top case.

Important Information About Vehicle Positioning

Before installation, the intended mounting area should be checked for sufficient strength. When mounting the can on a side case or top case, the additional load of the filled container must be taken into account in relation to the luggage system.

The can should be positioned away from the exhaust, engine and other heat sources as well as tyres, suspension components and other moving parts. The additional load should also be considered when planning the overall luggage distribution on the vehicle.

This product consists of one 5-litre petrol can with a matching vehicle mounting bracket. A lock and keys are also included. The set therefore contains the essential components for an externally mounted and lockable fuel-carrying solution on a suitable motorcycle, ATV or quad.
