Black Lever Set with Brake and Clutch Lever for Honda XL and XLV

This black lever set with brake lever and clutch lever is intended for selected Honda motorcycles from the XL and XLV model ranges. The set includes both hand levers for the left and right side of the handlebar and is suitable as a replacement for worn, bent or damaged original levers.

The brake lever has a length of approx. 20.5 cm, while the clutch lever has a length of approx. 18 cm. The different lever lengths correspond to their respective functions on the handlebar controls. Before replacement, compare the motorcycle model, model year and existing lever shape with the specifications provided.

Complete Lever Set for Brake and Clutch

The scope of delivery includes one brake lever and one clutch lever. This allows both hand levers to be replaced together. The black finish suits the classic enduro and adventure motorcycle design of the Honda XL and XLV model ranges.

Complete lever set: includes brake lever and clutch lever.
Colour: Black.
Brake lever length: approx. 20.5 cm.
Clutch lever length: approx. 18 cm.
Vehicle-specific fitment: suitable for selected Honda XL 600 and XLV 750 models.
For both handlebar sides: brake lever on the right and clutch lever on the left.

Different Lever Lengths for Each Function

The brake lever is longer at approx. 20.5 cm, while the clutch lever measures approx. 18 cm. These dimensions can be used in addition to the vehicle compatibility information for comparison with the existing hand levers. Especially on older motorcycles, checking the dimensions is useful if different controls or replacement levers have been fitted over the years.

Overall length alone should not be used to determine compatibility. The mounting point on the handlebar control, pivot point and actuation geometry must also correspond to the existing components. A lever with a similar appearance therefore does not automatically fit every motorcycle.

Suitable for Honda XL 600 and XLV 750 Models

The lever set is intended for several classic Honda enduro and adventure motorcycle models. These include the Honda XL 600 R, XL 600 LM Paris Dakar, XL 600 RM, XL 600 V Transalp and XLV 750 R.

Depending on the model, the vehicle compatibility covers model years from 1983 to 1993. Before ordering, check the exact model designation and model year, as handlebar controls and lever mountings can differ between individual versions.

Vehicle Compatibility

Manufacturer	Model	Year
Honda	XL 600 R	1985–1987
Honda	XL 600 LM Paris Dakar	1985–1987
Honda	XL 600 RM	1986
Honda	XL 600 V Transalp	1987–1993
Honda	XLV 750 R	1983–1985

Why Worn or Bent Levers Should Be Replaced

Motorcycle hand levers are regularly exposed to mechanical loads. Even a minor fall can be enough to bend a lever. Worn pivot points, damaged lever ends or heavy signs of use can also affect operation.

If a brake or clutch lever no longer moves smoothly, is visibly bent or has excessive play at the mounting point, the lever and associated control should be inspected. This set allows both hand levers to be replaced together.
