Götz Performance Chain and Sprocket Kit for Hyosung GV 125 S Aquila
The Götz Performance chain and sprocket kit for the Hyosung GV 125 S Aquila is a complete motorcycle final-drive set designed to retain the original gearing. It combines a 14-tooth front sprocket, a 51-tooth rear sprocket and a 428 chain with 138 links and a clip-type connecting link.
This complete motorcycle chain kit is particularly relevant when the chain and sprockets need to be replaced together due to wear. Replacing the drive components as a complete set provides components with a consistent starting point in terms of wear. The 14/51 tooth configuration retains the specified original final-drive ratio.
Original gearing with 14-tooth front and 51-tooth rear sprocket
Motorcycle final-drive gearing determines how power is transferred from the gearbox output to the rear wheel. This Götz Performance kit uses a 14-tooth front sprocket and 51-tooth rear sprocket, maintaining the original gearing rather than changing the ratio through alternative sprocket sizes.

Hardened components for demanding final-drive operation
Motorcycle sprockets are continuously exposed to mechanical loads as engine power is transferred through the chain. The tooth surfaces are particularly important because they remain in repeated contact with the moving chain. The Götz Performance kit therefore incorporates treated components designed to withstand these operating loads.
Induction-hardened rear sprocket surface
The rear sprocket features an induction-hardened surface. This treatment increases the resistance of the mechanically stressed areas that repeatedly contact the chain, helping to reduce wear during normal operation.
Front drive sprocket with 55 HRC hardness
The front sprocket has a specified hardness of 55 HRC. This technical characteristic is particularly relevant to the loaded tooth surfaces and supports resistance to the continuous mechanical stresses generated within the motorcycle final drive.
Zinc-coated rear sprocket for corrosion protection
A motorcycle chain drive is exposed to moisture, road contamination and environmental influences. The rear sprocket therefore features a zinc coating to help prevent corrosion and rust formation. This corrosion-resistant finish complements the hardened surface of the sprocket.
The chain also incorporates reinforced components, including thicker outer plates and suitable bushings. These construction details support consistent chain operation and efficient transfer of engine power to the rear wheel.

Why replace the motorcycle chain and sprockets as a complete set?
A worn motorcycle chain can progressively wear the tooth profiles of both the front and rear sprockets. Combining a new component with heavily worn existing drive parts can result in different wear conditions within the same final-drive system. This Hyosung GV 125 S Aquila chain and sprocket kit therefore supplies the primary wear components together in the specified configuration.
For riders who need to retain the original gearing, the 14-tooth front and 51-tooth rear sprocket combination provides the specified ratio. The 428 chain with 138 links completes the final-drive set.
