1. Notice pursuant to the Battery Act

As our shipments may contain batteries and rechargeable batteries, we are obliged under the Battery Act (BattG) to inform you of the following:

1. Batteries and rechargeable batteries must not be disposed of with household waste. You are legally obliged to return used batteries and rechargeable batteries.

2. Used batteries may contain harmful substances that can damage the environment or your health if not stored or disposed of properly. Batteries also contain valuable raw materials such as iron, zinc, manganese, or nickel and can be recycled.

3. After use, you can either return the batteries to us or dispose of them free of charge at a nearby location (e.g. retail stores, municipal collection points, or our shipping warehouse).

4. For end users, the return at retail outlets is limited to the usual quantities and to such used batteries that the distributor carries or has carried as new batteries in its product range.

5. The symbol of the crossed-out wheeled bin means that batteries and rechargeable batteries must not be disposed of with household waste.

As a seller of vehicle batteries, we are legally obliged pursuant to Section 10 BattG
to charge a deposit for these vehicle batteries for private customers.
Therefore, when purchasing a battery such as this item, the deposit item with the item number must be purchased in our online shop.
This serves as a digital deposit item (attention: no physical item).
In order for the battery deposit to be refunded by us, the following steps must be taken:
1) Purchase of item no.: B-Deposit
2) Proper disposal of the used battery. You will receive either a receipt/disposal certificate
or you can have the disposal confirmed on our invoice. This document must not be older than 2 weeks and must be submitted to us no later than 4 weeks after purchase.
Please send us the signed and stamped disposal certificate by email or post.
3) After we have received your certificate, the purchased deposit item will be refunded via the same payment method
used to purchase the item.
If you paid by bank transfer, please send us your bank details for the refund.
