Starter freewheel complete set for Yamaha XV 250 Virago / XVS 250 Drag Star all models till year 2017
During operation, the freewheel always engages the starter ring gear directly.
Normally this means even wear on both components.
So if only the freewheel is changed, although the starter ring gear is also worn, the life expectancy of the new freewheel is reduced very significantly.
