The starter freewheel forms the connection between the starter motor and the crankshaft.
The freewheel secures the components when the engine starts to run and the engine speed exceeds the starter speed. Creaking and cracking noises during starting can indicate a defect in the freewheel.
Inactivity can lead to a complete defect in the motor housing.
Attention: The starter freewheel mainly only fits scooters with a Piaggio Maxi 2-stroke engine!
